Co-existing with an MRKH is like the ultimate power struggle - some days you are leading the day and others, MRKH! We tend to offer MRKH so much power because it holds so much over us; our relationships, self-worth and role in life. There are days or even years, that MRKH feels like the leading role in a very bad movie! However, if we switch up the narrative and put MRKH back in its place, we can be our unique selves and not a diagnosis. Easier said than done, we know!

We can't change things that have already happened

We can't change things that have already happened to us.

That doesn't mean the journey is ever easy.

But it does mean we can be the best from whatever happens.

Our path may look different than what we imagined but whose path is exactly as they planned?

Does it mean our lives can't be filled with joy and happiness? No.

Our path will still have ups and downs and we will grow through what we go through.

Sometimes that will be easier than other times but through it all if we can help lend a friendly ear, a virtual hug or share some of our experiences to provide comfort and support then we are here.

They raised an amazing £636.61 👏 and as a small charity we cannot express how amazing this is and how this money continues to contribute to what we do including supporting our in person events, guest events, travel bursaries, community initiatives like the MRKH Podcast, youth program and more.

None of truly know what is going on behind closed doors. We all have struggles, but sometimes we disguise them well. Some of us carry ourselves with grace and poise. Some of us dance the perfect dance, despite feeling deep pain and discomfort. The truth is, those who seem to be doing “just fine”, are probably in need of so much support.

Connect with Friends is an event series designed to be a relaxed and informal event with the chance to chat and share, or just listen, with friends old and new💛

This is a safe space with no pressure to talk or share just an informal peer led event and a chance to chat with others.

As with all our Connect with Friends this is only for those with MRKH and all MRKHers over 16 are welcome regardless of where you are in your journey.
