MRKH CONNECT HISTORY

‘We are not makers of history. We are made by history’

MRKH Connect was founded in 2014 by Kelly and Janet.

Their aim, which remains today, is to connect those with Mayer Rokitansky Küster Hauser (MRKH) syndrome together, wherever they are in the world, to ensure no one with MRKH feels alone whilst also providing support to them and their families and promoting awareness to medical professionals and the public.

The inspiration for starting MRKH Connect was a video focused on difference being a gateway to connection.  They knew from their own experiences that connecting with someone going through the same thing as you was life changing.

No one with MRKH should ever feel alone, and they wanted MRKH Connect to be the platform to help those with MRKH to find others to really connect with. Having the courage to find someone with MRKH is hard, finding someone in the same location or the same age is even harder, but the inclusion of map and forum on the site was one way they hoped would make that step easier.

We are proud to be building upon their foundation to continue their mission and to help you find that support, no matter where in the world you are.
