Introducing our next MRKH CONNECT LIVE 2026 speake Introducing our next MRKH CONNECT LIVE 2026 speaker, Ally Hensley. This session will explore: The MRKH Emotional Toolkit. 💜

Ally Hensley is an author, speaker, stigma shaker and global ambassador for women’s health and happiness. Ally has written for leading publications on mental health, infertility and body positivity, and has become a regular media contributor on her experience of being born with MRKH, a medical condition resulting in the absence of a womb and vagina.

As an international spokesperson for MRKH on how to redefine womanhood on her own terms, Ally advocates to raise support and awareness of this life-altering diagnosis. She founded Australia’s first MRKH organisation, MRKH Australia, in 2013, co-founded Global MRKH in 2016 and is a board member of the UK’s flagship charity, MRKH Connect.

Her podcast Stigma Shakers recently launched, and just two seasons in, this stigma-focused show has been featured by the BBC, among many other national publications, and has reached over 150k views. Now, Stigma Shakers is recognised as not just a taboo-tackling platform, but a social movement, in questioning: ‘Is the only thing normal in this world difference?’

Ally works to reduce the stigma surrounding sexual (mental) health and prompts conversations that matter. Ally understands the importance of creating a safe, informed and inclusive space. With her knowledge, experience and purpose to connect the community with ‘hearty-humanness’, Ally is a complementary asset to the MRKH Connect Board of Trustees.

Introducing our next MRKH CONNECT LIVE 2026 speake Introducing our next MRKH CONNECT LIVE 2026 speaker, Anna Brown. This session is a panel discussion focusing on how we can recognise and reduce stigma titled, ‘Name It, Don’t Shame It’. 💜

Anna Brown is from Scotland, she was diagnosed with MRKH at the age of 17. At the time, there was little information available about the condition or where to find meaningful support. Highlighting how important connection and awareness is, inspiring her to become involved in the community and to ensure that no one diagnosed with MRKH feels alone.
Anna and her partner are currently navigating the world of surrogacy and exploring what the journey to building their own family looks like. Through this process, she has gained an understanding of the options and existing frameworks available to women with MRKH who wish to start a family. This has sparked a passion to share knowledge, open conversations, and help others in similar situations explore the possibilities available to them.

Introducing our next MRKH CONNECT LIVE 2026 speake Introducing our next MRKH CONNECT LIVE 2026 speaker, Karen Martin. This session is a panel discussion focusing on how we can recognise and reduce stigma titled, ‘Name It, Don’t Shame It’. 💜

In Karen’s words...

Hi, I’m Karen, I was born in the 1970s in Dublin Ireland but for the past 23 years l have lived in North Wales with my husband, Jamie.

Aged 21, l qualified from university and began working for myself in private healthcare. I have been self-employed for the last 35 years and l still love it.

My passions are swimming, yoga and walking.

MRKH impacts me daily, but I now have learned some of the skills to understand and process the emotions that come up. In the past 5 years my life has changed dramatically (for the better) by finding others with MRKH around the world. For many years l was alone with my diagnosis but now feel part of a fantastic global community. Many of my MRKH sisters are now my best friends.
