MRKH Connect is a charity with a mission to connect those with MRKH all over the world. No one should feel alone, we are 1 in 5000 #mrkhempowerment ❤️

🌟 REGISTRATION IS OPEN AND AGENDA IS LIVE🌟 Join 🌟 REGISTRATION IS OPEN AND AGENDA IS LIVE🌟

Join us for this year's Connect LIVE as we return to the big screen on 11th July 2026 in London.

Our annual in person peer support is an event designed to provide information, support and celebrate our MRKH community, our biggest milestones in UK and global advocacy, and most importantly, you.

Like last year the 5000 in 50 challenge fundraiser will also end at Connect LIVE, a wonderful way to celebrate together.

Our agenda is now LIVE and we will be joined by speakers from across our community in the UK and North America sharing their experiences and knowledge as we also explore experiences at different ages and stages of our journey too as we cover everything from diagnosis, to body image, cultural perspectives, to fertility pathways (or not), mental health and more.

We are also absolutely delighted to welcome a special guest speaker Dr Christine Pennesi from the @mrkhcarecincy team joining us live and in person to answer the question...What is MRKH?

Follow the link in our bio to find out more and sign up today and keep following for speaker updates!

Tickets are FREE but if you wish to make a donation all proceeds will go straight back into the work we do supporting the MRKH community.

Here she is, running for us, Charlie Bishop, MRKH Here she is, running for us, Charlie Bishop, MRKH Connect Director.

OK, so let’s cut to the chase: In the world of charity, there is always something not so easy to hear: We need your help.

Yes, we are here to support and advocate for MRKH. This diagnosis is rare, life-altering, taboo, and unheard of. But here’s the thing: it’s hard to rally for funds when you’re in the shadows of a misunderstood condition.

We know that MRKH (Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser) Syndrome is a congenital condition (present at birth) that affects around 1 in 5000 female births. Whilst everyone is different, we have provided a summary of how MRKH usually affects the body and how it is typically diagnosed. Please note that the information is for background purposes and not a replacement for qualified advice about your individual case.

And, honestly, it’s hard to raise funds when the very condition you’re rallying for is so hush-hush. This is why we need your help. We can create the snazziest campaign, line up supporters to run a race, and host morning teas, but the real problem is, we simply need... donations. We’re a volunteer-led charity; website development, strategy administration, social media engagement, and so much more, but it still doesn’t cover the costs. We need money for travel donations, marketing presence, charity status, insurance, indemnity, and even laptops to host youth programs. We don’t run off love alone, even though we wish we did.

We need YOUR help.

Our annual charity fundraiser lasts for 50 days, for 365 days of activity.

If you see someone sweating over a run, boiling the kettle for a coffee morning, or pasting numbers on the back of a marathon t-shirt, know that... WE.NEED.YOUR.HELP.

Give what you can today, you know where to find us. ✨

In April, Charlie as Director of MRKH Connect atte In April, Charlie as Director of MRKH Connect attended WCPAG (World Congress of Pediatric and Adoslecent Gynaecology) an event held approx every 3 years. Charlie shares her reflections from the event --->

This event, designed for medical professionals to come together, was also an opportunity for us as MRKH patient advocates to have a presence and to be be able to not only to connect, chat and learn but also contribute to the discussions.

Very much leaving us all with the feeling that our presence was not just valued but important.

Big thanks to fellow advocates at the event Rima (@sumaavicoaching), Ashley (@mrkhcanada) and Adair (@beautifulyoumrkh) a pleasure to meet in person and experience this together.

*Sidenote: Perfect for a journal entry prompt!

“What is a myth about MRKH that I want to completely unlearn today?”

✨ Is it about womanhood?
✨ Is it about parenthood?
✨ Is it about sex and relationships?
✨ Is it about mental health?
✨ Is it about ovulation?

What assumptions are made about MRKH that are completely out of whack?

We’d love to know!
