The MRKH community is a collection of courageous p The MRKH community is a collection of courageous people whose lives are rocked by a life-altering diagnosis. A community that tells their stories, raises money for charity, brands T-shirts with the four letters MRKH to raise awareness, and who never leave a person behind. We are a community that raises and rallies. Researchers seek us out, and parents and partners send us messages in their plea for hope and understanding on how to help the person they love. If you choose to disclose it, it often takes time to think about how and when to do it. It's important to know that there is also a question of if you disclose. There is no need to disclose at all if you don't want it. We asked members of the community how they share their diagnosis in this throwback clip from our Connect LIVE 2025 event. Here we shared a community video addressing a series of questions around MRKH and our experiences. Providing a voice to the voiceless, offering advice and cultivating hope. We had some initial thoughts but wanted to hear from you because despite all the grief and pain, MRKH can bring us positive things we didn't expect. So what else can MRKH teach us? ⭐Resilience, it doesn't matter where you are in your journey MRKH is blooming hard sometimes ⭐That its ok, that we don't always need to feel ok, that it will be ok and its ok if we simply don't know how to feel ⭐ To feel empowered, there can be power in pain and that can elevate our personal drive to do more ⭐ That speaking up has value, that we are our best advocates and we don't have to settle if something isn't right Many of these things are not unique to MRKH but they are things that sometimes are prompted by a negative experience that can change our perspectives and give us a strength we didn't know we had....or know we needed, to get through.
