We are delighted for MRKHer Georgia Barrington whose story has been shared today on the BBC and accompanied by a piece with Emma Barnett on BBC Sounds.

Georgia shares her story to diagnosis as well as how, with the help of her best friend Daisy, she was able to have a child (born in August this year).

Georgia’s experiences shared with Emma Barnett and BBC News shows the reality of what so many of us experience upon diagnosis.

The lack of awareness by medical professionals and a deep sense of loneliness sitting with a condition we are totally unprepared for.

Sharing our experiences does help others it provides, hope and comfort and relatability whilst also giving an insight into the journey that many follow to motherhood. By raising awareness for MRKH it also plays a part in elevating women’s health in media where it is so often underrepresented.

Thank you Georgia and congratulations on baby Ottilie πŸ’œ
