On Tuesday night, we hosted a very special Connect On Tuesday night, we hosted a very special Connect with Friends with guest host Ellamae @mindovermrkh where we explored writing prompts and Found Poetry. A concept focused on using existing books and creative page selection to create poetry.

It was an evening that promoted connection through shared experiences and it was so interesting to see the words chosen on the page to create the poetry.

Those powerful words meaning something personally to those who created them whilst also being thought provoking to others.

This one from our Director Charlie speaks to connection and finding belonging and a safe space. And the book she used? None other than the wonderful Natalia @kiska115 memoir "I Don't Matter" available on Amazon and Kindle now 💜

Thank you to everyone who came along and tried something different, and thank you also to those who shared their writing with the group. A powerful moment.

Join us next time as we continue our Connect with Friends peer support series on March 22nd (sign up opens soon) and know that we are here any time you need.

A safe space to be, a place to belong.

💜

This is a question we hear a lot. Because any dis This is a question we hear a lot.

Because any disclosure, be it with a family member, friend or partner (or all of the above), can be extremely difficult and confronting and how to approach it is delicate, sensitive and quite frankly hard most of the time.

Sometimes, no two disclosures are the same, and as a community, we all have different methods and processes.

So… we want to dig a bit deeper and ask this question:

What is the first sentence you use when you disclose your MRKH diagnosis to a partner, family member or close friend (or all of the above!)? If you feel comfortable to share, let us know uour thoughts below 👇

This post could really help someone navigating this process for the first time or even those who have disclosed before but may benefit from other ideas.

And know that there should never be any pressure to share and if, how, who should always be whats comfortable for you.

 💜💜💜

The Power of One. One collective community focuse The Power of One.

One collective community focused on delivering an event that provides, connection, information and most importantly space and support for anyone living with, or in anyway affected by, the impact of MRKH.

Working under the MRKH One banner has allowed us and other peer groups across the world to connect on a different level. To thrive on the passion, hopefulness and motivation of these fabulous groups and individuals and our shared goal.

A powerful reminder that this event wasn’t built by one organisation or one idea — but by people choosing to come together and being motivated to try.

This special International MRKH Day event is a 24-hour global event for YOU. Whether you join us for one session or many, we hope you feel the warmth of the community that made it possible.

Hi! 👋 It's been a while since we have introduced Hi! 👋

It's been a while since we have introduced ourselves and our team has grown recently so a great chance to say hi again!

MRKH Connect is a UK registered charity with the mission to connect those with MRKH together across the world so no one feels alone, provide support and resources to them and their families as well as raising awareness publicly.

But who are the people behind MRKH Connect?

Our charity and Trustee Board is run by the amazing Charlie along with Ally, Shelley, Adrienne, Dr Michelle and Ali along with new recruits Anna, Mia and Jamie.

We also have our expanded team of Cerys, our Youth Lead, and Nikol, our wonderful content collaborator on all things relationships and intimacy.

We are a team of primarily MRKHers but we are also more than that, we are project managers, writers, scientists, doctors, marketing specialists, strategists, educators and more.  We are a mix of advocates, parents, MRKHers, supporters and medical professionals bringing a balance of knowledge and input to all that we do.

But most of all, we are here for you 💜
