This time of year can be overwhelming. It can fee This time of year can be overwhelming. It can feel like there is a lot of pressure to feel a certain way, to be happy and present at a time that maybe we aren't feeling it.

It's ok to feel like it's too much.

Equally it's ok to find joy in other ways this Christmas and to not be afraid to say no to things we aren't ready for or that don't bring us comfort.

Maybe we prefer to curl up on Christmas day in pjs watching movies and building Lego or making time to journal or blog or perhaps its making memories with all our important people around us.

It doesn't matter what it is or where we find it but finding that little bit of time for us in the often chaos of Christmas can be a welcome moment of peace whatever it is we choose to do with it 💜

In doing so we also kept our hands busy with some creativity by making mood boards using pictures, magazine cuttings, text or photos etc we brought with us.

It could be about our journey, looking ahead or anything we wanted. It wasn't something most of us had ever done before but it was a great way to get together and do something different as we chatted.

We love this example from Tracey who not only added some of her own photos to the board but we were also touched she added our logo too 💜

Thank you for letting us share it.

The hardest part of any journey is taking the firs The hardest part of any journey is taking the first step and being ok with the fact that not every step will always be forward.

But every step will be important.

Every step will be something we learn from.

The community is here in whatever way you need on your journey.

You are not alone.

We know thinking about how MRKH makes you feel is We know thinking about how MRKH makes you feel is hard. It's also a mix of emotions and depends where you are in your journey as well.

We want to thank you to all who contributed to this discussion and shared your feelings with us🤗

We have collated the feedback across socials and made a word cloud highlighting how many times a word was raised - the larger the writing the more often that word came up.

We also wanted to add that some used the opportunity for phrases rather than just simply words - "Never Give Up", "I have Answers" and "Just Another Challenge" were ones that specifically stuck out and that reflect not only the challenge but what feelings of empowerment MRKH has given that perhaps was unexpected.

You are not alone, whatever age or stage of your journey you are 💜

This time of year can be as magical as it is costl This time of year can be as magical as it is costly and it's not always easy to support those charities that mean something to you at such a heavy time of year, or even at any time of year, when cost of living crunches the pennies.

Small charities like us rely on doantions as we have no regular income and it is fair to say every little helps.

@easyfundraising is a great way to donate as it partners with over 7,000 brands who will donate part of what you spend to a cause of your choice.

The best things is it doesn't cost you any extra as the cost is covered by the brand.

Find out more: www.easyfundraising.org.uk where you will find us and many other charities who benefit from this amazing initiative.

Thank you 💜

We were so happy to see this news shared by @womb_ We were so happy to see this news shared by @womb_transplant_uk yesterday and wanted to share our congratulations to Isabel and the incredible work that she, Prof Richard Smith, and the team have achieved.

It is incredible to see a woman who has dedicated her career to helping people as a transplant surgeon to be recognised for her instrumental role in the UTx program in the UK.

Truly influential and inspiring!!

We have had the pleasure to meet Isabel this year on two occasions and not only are her professional accolades clear but her warmth, engagement and real interest to support the community was obvious and quite frankly very touching.

We are grateful for you, Isabel, and everything you do!

💜

British Vogue honours 25 of the nation’s most influential women. Miss Isabel Quiroga was voted as one of them. “For over a decade, transplant and endocrinology surgeon Dr Isabel Quiroga and her fellow researchers at the Oxford Transplant Centre have been fixated on one thing: perfecting the womb transplant. In 2023, their efforts were realised with the first op of its kind in the UK.

Flash forward two years and the first baby via womb transplant has been born. Amy Isabel – named after the donor and Quiroga – arrived in February 2025 to the delight of her parents, Grace and Angus, opening a door for hopeful parents-to-be everywhere.”
