Youth Program Registration

Next Program Dates: Will be released very soon!

Our Youth Program is designed for all MRKHers who are nominally aged between 18 – 25 years old who are able to commit to the times and dates of the program.  Our MRKH Youth Program page tells you everything you need to know about what this program offers and how it can benefit you.   These are small group sessions of 4-6 people designed to be a comfortable and safe environment.  Everyone present will have MRKH.

Thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund we are able to offer this program for free and as such we have a prioritisation to those registrants from the UK but if you live outside of the UK and are able to join then we still encourage you to register and Important Information about the program is provided at the bottom of this page.  Please note that places are limited and all registrations will be reviewed before your place is confirmed.

Any questions you have please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Important Information

  • The MRKH Youth Program page contains background information about the program
  • The application form includes some screening questions to ensure that all who take part are able to get the most benefit from this program.  For some, this program may not be suitable, and if this is the case then recommendations will be made to the individual so they can make a decision as to what is an alternative source of support. This might include recommendations such as other support mechanisms or specialist services which might be more appropriate.
  • Once your registration is confirmed then all prospective attendees will be invited to a session with the Connect team ahead of the program start to ensure you are happy with what the program is and how it will work and to give you the chance to meet those who will join you on the program.
  • Privacy is important to this program. You will need to have a private space to participate or your own headphones.  If you don’t have headphones then please let us know and they will be provided to you.
  • We ask those opting to participate in this program to carefully evaluate your time commitments prior to application. Whilst we understand the demands of daily life such as work and study, spots are limited and every week is carefully planned with you in mind. We ask that you consider this before signing up.
  • As this is a group program we encourage engagement and participation from all who attend, to ensure you maximise the benefit from this program.  However, we also appreciate that this can be a bit daunting. We do encourage all participants to have their cameras on and participate as much as possible to get the most benefit from the program and the safe space we have created is designed to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
  • MRKH Connect takes confidentiality very seriously.  Sessions are not recorded and no information will be shared publicly on who is participating in this program.
  • We also ask that all those participating respect each other and do not share any personal details of any other participants, their stories or anything they share whilst undertaking this program.  All participants agree to this before the program begins.
  • Each session  starts with a statement of confidentiality and any disrespectful behaviour towards another participant or the organisers (including sharing confidential information) will not be tolerated.
  • All personal information will be retained by MRKH Connect in the same way it manages its Members Area and in line with its Safeguarding protocols. Participant information will not be shared with any third party.
