It was our great pleasure to meet Audrey from The It was our great pleasure to meet Audrey from The Sunday Times at the Fertility Show last weekend and we have since chatted to her more about this exciting book she is working on. We all know the trials and tribulations of navigating our journey and what this might mean for us. In a society fixated on "family" it can be challenging, and isolating, to share our journey when things don't go the way we hope or expect (or is expected!) despite infertility affecting at least 1 in 8 couples. Whatever your path and whether it ended how you hoped or not this book hopes to shine a light on all. Her aim, is to collect a wide range of inputs from across different reasons for infertility or fertility challenges. All contributions are welcome and will be reviewed even if they cannot all be included. These peer led sessions are run online, they are small group, relaxed and informal designed to help young MRKHers move towards a better acceptance of MRKH and help develop strategies to help process their journey and improve wellbeing whilst making new connections in a safe space. This week is Mental Health Awareness week and an important reminder that our wellbeing and mental health MATTERS πŸ’š Yet we are all acutely aware that mental health awareness and support needs to improve significantly across the world and is also very under resourced despite its importance.
