Our entire #MRKH community has big, brave hearts.❤️ We are still absolutely buzzing following our experience as a charity exhibitor at The Fertility Show. As the doors opened, hundreds of hopeful, curious, and eager people filled the venue. We had hugs with strangers who openly cried while sharing their fertility fears. We chatted with organisations, advocates, authors, speakers, health professionals, and other charity platforms that are raising awareness for a cause close to them. We cheered on @bettymukherjee , who took to the stage, forming a panel of speakers who have found themselves navigating fertility options and mental health. ✨ We held space, we strategised, and we explained what MRKH is to anyone and everyone who came our way. But, most of all, we felt proud. We felt proud of our community, our diagnosis, and the work we do. Inspired, our list of objectives has doubled. We say, bring it on! Thank you to @thefertilityshow for making what can be such a difficult and confronting life feel so hopeful and supported. 💜 #mrkh #infertility #thefertilityshow

✨️ NEW RESEARCH ✨️ We are very excited to share t ✨️ NEW RESEARCH ✨️ We are very excited to share this new research from Samantha Stephen who is a social scientist and an MRKHer herself, studying her PhD on the social response in the UK to emerging reproductive technologies such as artificial wombs. Through a focus group facilitated by MRKH Connect we worked together to revise and discuss the interview questions and share perspectives from different stages, ages and cultures from our community. This truly is community informed research where the community voices are critical to the outcome yet are often marginalised in such discussions. Favoured far below policy makers but without taking into account the view of those that such new innovations may support. Discussions matter. Whether you are not sure if this is for you, never heard of it (but curious) or very interested to learn more, all perspectives are valid. Research will be in the form on one to one online interviews with anyone in the UK with MRKH. All outcomes will be anonymised. This research has been granted the appropriate ethical approval.
