THANK YOU for helping us reach this incredible total for this year's #mrkh5000in50 through inspiring personal challenges both physical and wellbeing focused that has allowed us to far exceed our Β£5000 goal. For MRKHers and our incredible supporters who joined in, liked, shared and donated THANK YOU. These funds make a HUGE difference. They help us work to keep our events free for all because we believe support should be accessible and attendance possible. Cost to attend should not be a barrier for connection and support. They also help us make tangible plans for the future through our events, wider community initiatives, and outreach awareness beyond our community. When we are having a difficult time it can be hard When we are having a difficult time it can be hard to know how to manage those negative feelings and find those happy emotions. So we have collated some of the different tools from a peer perspective you might want to give a try ----> We want to say a big thank you to @maialouisejones who came to us with her vision as a young MRKHer, and it's been wonderful to collaborate together on this to see that resource come to life. Personal experiences like this, and others we share from mums, dads, partners, friends and even teachers, are powerful reminders of the support that sits behind us. Sometimes we might find it hard to articulate how much you help us become who we are today navigating our own journey whilst you navigate yours. So we want to say a massive thank you to you. Thank you for being there to listen, hug, support and love us even when you have the same limited information we do and you want to help us find a way forward. If you are one of these wonderful people, or have someone in your life who would be willing to share their experiences to help others we would love to hear from you. The #mrkh5000in50 challenge isn't quite over yet...our final participants Abbie and Frankie are taking on the West Highland Way (96 miles / 154 km) over 4 days and their challenge starts TODAY! With a close link to MRKH through our trustee Anna, they have decided to raise vital funds for MRKH Connect and we couldn't be more grateful πŸ’œ We wish them well on their challenge and hope to share more updates as their challenge continues. As we reflect on another Connect LIVE event we wan As we reflect on another Connect LIVE event we want to share a massive THANK YOU from (almost) all of us to you. Whether you were there in person, online, or in spirit this community means the world to us and we wouldn't be here without you. We were honoured to have incredible speakers from our community, our supporters and beyond and will share more about the event and the wonderful stories shared in due course. It was certainly a day of information, inspiration and connection. But it was also an incredibly personal reflection for many of our speakers which was not only touching but relatable and for many reaffirming. What can we say....50 days of this incredible chal What can we say....50 days of this incredible challenge completed! Participants from 6 countries across the world coming together to raise awareness promote their physical and mental health and importantly do something for them. The total is still rising but we have collectively raised over Β£3500 which is an amazing amount for us as a small charity and we want to thank everyone who has participated, liked, shared and importantly cheered us on. It's meant the world to each and every one of us and we are so grateful for your support.
