A diagnosis of MRKH can rarely feel like something to celebrate yet on Saturday 20th November it really felt like a celebration.

A celebration of our uniqueness of having fun and that our beauty and worth is not defined by whether we have a womb or not.

Hosted at Brasserie Blanc, Chancery Lane this fantastic informal Christmas meal arranged by the lovely Ellamae (@mindovermrkh) was a great way to bring the community together and we were delighted to be able to provide some financial support to this event and help make it more accessible and affordable for everyone.

This event was full of smiles and laughs and fun and highlights just how important events that bring the community together are.Β  With 18 MRKHers plus a couple of mums and partners it was an event that truly shared the diversity of our community from those just starting out to those diagnosed over 20 years ago.

We were set up to connect those with MRKH together and being able to contribute to these types of events as well as run our own are a big part of what we are here to do and we are so pleased that an in person event was finally possible.

Thank you to all who came.

A special acknowledgement to those who came despite the nerves you had, to those who had never met anyone else and those who were meeting old friends.

These events can be overwhelming so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need to.

Wherever you are in your journey we are here.

We can’t wait for more in person events in 2022 around the country and beyond – watch this space for what we have planned! If you have MRKH and want to join our community or mailing list please email us info@mrkhconnect.org or hit Join MRKH Connect at the top of our webpage
