We are delighted to share this event from our friends in Ireland!

This will be the fourth event for those withย  MRKH in Ireland and hosted by the Rotunda hospital, this time off-site at the Ashling Hotel!

What will happen on the day?

The afternoon will include a series of talks about people’s personal experiences of living with MRKH, support offered by MRKH charities, and a medical presentation about MRKH. After the talks, there will be breakout groups where you will have a chance to speak to others with shared experiences. We will have separate breakout groups for people with MRKH and family members.

The exact details of our 2023 event are to be confirmed, but below is an outline of last year’s schedule to give you an idea of what to expect.

Do I need to register for the event?

Yes. When you register for the event, please list the names of people in your family who will be attending so we know how many people to expect.

When listing your names, please also let us know who you are (i.e. whether you have MRKH or how you are related to someone with MRKH). This will help us to plan the breakout groups.

What happens after I register?

Once you have registered, we will be in touch via email when we have finalised the schedule. We’ll send directions on where to find us on the day too. You’ll likely receive this a couple of weeks ahead of the event.

What if I feel nervous about attending?

We hope the day will be helpful for you. Some people (or most people!) may feel nervous about attending to a day about MRKH. If you’re feeling nervous, that’s okay! In our experience, many people feel nervous at first, but then feed back that they were glad they went. You can take the day at your own pace, take breaks if you need to, and speak as much or as little as you would like in the breakout groups.
